For visitors
Ypäjä Equine College offers a variety of flexible accommodation options to ensure that we can provide you with the perfect solution. Whether your travel group is large or small, and whether you need accommodation for a short or extended stay, we have the ideal option for you.
Childcare facilities are available at Opistohalli and the Sports Area at Ajomestari.
Accessible toilet facilities can be found at Ypäjähalli and Opistohalli.
Dogs are welcome at the Equine Institute, but they must be kept on a leash at all times.
Be cautious in busy areas so as not to disturb other visitors, exhibitors, and competitors. We also kindly ask all visitors to clean up after their dogs and dispose of any waste in the designated bins.
Do not leave dogs unattended in vehicles.
During events, visitors can enjoy refreshments and delicious meals.
For outdoor events at the Equine Gollege, food can be found at the following points:
- Ajomestari
- Located in the immediate vicinity of the Derby grandstand and Expo Street, this restaurant offers coffee products, ice cream, as well as lunch and dinner. It has a license to serve alcoholic beverages (A-rights).
- Grill Tent
- Offers meat, chicken, and vegetarian burgers, sausage and fries, grilled sausage, and soft drinks. The grill tent is located on the racetrack next to Ajomestari and at the end of Expo Street.
- Café Wagon
- In addition to coffee products, the café wagon offers ice cream. The wagon can be found near Juhlakenttä.
- Terrace cottage
- Offers soft drinks, coffee, hot dogs, and ice cream. The terrace cottge is located on the terrace of Ajomestari and also has a license to serve alcoholic beverages (A-rights).
- VIP Dining / Ratamestari
- Dining for invited guests during events takes place at Ratamestari. Also serves as a dining area for staff and officials.
For indoor events, visitors are served at the cafés in Ypäjähalli and Opistohalli.
Lost items during the competition can be inquired about at the show office.
After the event, the items will be delivered to the accommodation reception at Opistohalli, where they will be kept for one month.
Depending on the event, the audience is offered a complimentary digital program, which can be obtained on a smartphone by scanning the QR code at the competition venue or alternatively through the link available on the website.
Toilets are available throughout the Equine Gollege's area. For the public, restroom facilities can be found in Ypäjä-halli, Haimi-halli, Opistohalli, and Ajomestari, as well as portable toilets on the competition grounds.
Showers are available in Ypäjä-halli.
