The training center is designed for all equestrian professionals and enthusiasts. In close collaboration with educational programs, the training center organizes numerous competitions and training events each year. As a competition and event venue, the training center offers unique facilities, especially for equestrian sports. Professional training and coaching of harness racing horses can also take place within the equine college's framework. Spanning over 300 hectares, the area features sports facilities that meet international standards, providing enjoyment for athletes, enthusiasts, and students alike.

Collaboration with the Finnish Equestrian Federation

In collaboration with the Finnish Equestrian Federation, the training center conducts national team training for equestrian sports. The training center coordinates the national team training activities of the Finnish Equestrian Federation. The Equestrian Sports Training Center provides excellent facilities for national team training in Olympic equestrian disciplines. National team training is also organized in other equestrian disciplines, such as driving and vaulting. Additionally, the equine college hosts several international-level training clinics each year.

The training center is also a training location for riding coaches, implementing the coaching education programs of the Finnish Equestrian Federation. The contents of these training programs are developed in cooperation with the Finnish Equestrian Federation. The training center also offers additional education for officials in equestrian sports.

Young Horses

A concept for foal school and training pathways is implemented for harness foals. The model aims to be adopted for riding foals as well, with the goal of producing “happy athlete” equestrians in collaboration with professionals. Working with young horses teaches students how to care for, train, and develop sports horses.

The equine college’s foals live in open stables, where they can interact with their peers and move freely. The foals are fed concentrate feed twice a day and have access to high-quality hay.
