Hevosopisto and Para-Dressage Rider Jonna Aaltonen Announce Partnership
Hevosopisto and para-dressage rider Jonna Aaltonen have agreed on a partnership in which Hevosopisto will support Aaltonen on her journey toward the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics.
Jonna Aaltonen is an experienced equestrian professional who graduated as a horse groom from Ypäjä in 1997 and later continued her studies in young horse training. Today, she competes in para-dressage as part of the Finnish national team. Through this collaboration, Hevosopisto aims to support her path to international success.
– “It’s amazing to have my former school supporting us on the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. I have gained invaluable knowledge and unforgettable memories from my years at Ypäjä before my para-dressage career. Currently, we train with the national team at Ypäjä about once a month from October to April, and I’m excited to start this partnership,” Aaltonen says.
Hevosopisto is committed to promoting inclusivity in equestrian sports and providing top-class facilities for both competitive and recreational riders. The collaboration with Aaltonen is a natural part of this mission.
