Hevosopisto and Para-Dressage Rider Jonna Aaltonen Announce Partnership

Hevosopisto and para-dressage rider Jonna Aaltonen have agreed on a partnership in which Hevosopisto will support Aaltonen on her journey toward the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics.

Jonna Aaltonen is an experienced equestrian professional who graduated as a horse groom from Ypäjä in 1997 and later continued her studies in young horse training. Today, she competes in para-dressage as part of the Finnish national team. Through this collaboration, Hevosopisto aims to support her path to international success.

“It’s amazing to have my former school supporting us on the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. I have gained invaluable knowledge and unforgettable memories from my years at Ypäjä before my para-dressage career. Currently, we train with the national team at Ypäjä about once a month from October to April, and I’m excited to start this partnership,” Aaltonen says.

Hevosopisto is committed to promoting inclusivity in equestrian sports and providing top-class facilities for both competitive and recreational riders. The collaboration with Aaltonen is a natural part of this mission.
