Join the Talent and Junior Meeting camps, where you can develop your skills under the guidance of top coaches. Summer Camps and Meetings 2024
Talent, Pony, and Junior Meetings
2nd-5th June 2024
Train in top-notch facilities at the Equestrian College under the guidance of experienced professional coaches. You can train in dressage, show jumping, or eventing. The meeting is a fantastic opportunity to train with your pony or horse towards your own goals in the Ypäjä competition arenas.
The camp program includes diverse theory lessons and exercises on the derby field, cross-country jumps, and the international dressage arena.
The Equestrian School's competition week begins after the meeting, making this an excellent opportunity to prepare for upcoming competitions and familiarize yourself with the competition arenas.
Meeting camps are designed for riders who train and ride with specific goals in mind. The high-quality and goal-oriented coaching is provided by Christine "Cinna" Procópe, Tiina Tarkkala, and Helkky Ylönen.

Junior Camp 17th-20th June 2024
- Dressage and show jumping lessons in level groups

- Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and evening snacks
- For participants bringing their own horse, the fee includes a stall with peat bedding and hay; no other feed is provided.
The camp fee of €599 includes:
- Diverse training in dressage, show jumping, and trail riding, as well as theory lessons
- Accommodation in shared double rooms. For an additional fee, it's possible to reserve a single room in "Porkkana" for €150 or "Puolukka" for €100.
- Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and evening snacks
- For participants bringing their own horse, the fee includes a stall with peat bedding and hay; no other feed is provided.
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Sennumeeting / Senior Meeting
22nd-25th July 2024
Sennumeeting is the best training camp of the summer for adult riders!
Come to Ypäjä to train in top-notch facilities under the guidance of experienced professional coaches. You can train in dressage, show jumping, or eventing.
The meeting is a fantastic opportunity to train with your pony or horse towards your own goals in the Ypäjä competition arenas.
The camp program includes diverse theory lessons and demonstrations related to training, as well as exercises on the derby field, cross-country jumps, or the dressage arena!
Available with both Equestrian College horses (limited capacity) and participants' own horses
Age restriction: 18 and above
The camp fee of €599 includes:
- Accommodation in shared dormitories, in double rooms
- Option to reserve a single room for an additional fee (€150 for "Porkkana," €100 for "Puolukka," limited capacity)
- Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and evening snacks
- Training in dressage, show jumping, and eventing, as well as theory lessons
- For participants bringing their own horse, the fee includes a stall with bedding and hay (no other feed provided)

WELCOME TO YPÄJÄ!
When making a reservation for the camp of your choosing, a booking fee is paid, and the final payment is due approximately one month before the camp. Participants will receive an information letter about two weeks before the start of the camp.
Participants bringing their own horses will have them accommodated in the Equestrian College's stables, where professionals will guide the handling of the horses. The camp fee includes a stall with peat bedding and hay.
The Equestrian College's Riding School is approved by the Finnish Equestrian Federation as a Quality Stable. The sports facilities of the Equestrian College are unique in Finland, and during the hot summer weather, it is pleasant to ride in the cool indoor arenas. The Equestrian College's area features 7 outdoor arenas, two grass arenas, and miles of safe horse trails for trail riding. There are cross-country jumping obstacles ranging from beginner-level to international-level courses. The endurance track is three kilometres long, and there is also a racing track for trotting horses.
Cancellation Policy

Camps:
The booking fee for camps is 99 euros. The booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The remaining camp fee will only be refunded upon presentation of a doctor's or veterinarian's certificate.
Weekend Camps:
The booking fee for weekend camps is 50 euros. The booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The remaining camp fee must be paid approximately one week before the camp. After this, the camp fee will only be refunded upon presentation of a doctor's or veterinarian's certificate.
