Unique International Event Unites Equestrian Professionals from Around the World

For the first time, an exceptional event brings together the leading organizations, trainers, coaches, and vocational assessors in the equestrian field from over 20 countries. The event will take place at the Ypäjä Equine College from November 17–21, highlighting its remarkable global reach with participants from nations including Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Canada, and many others.

The program features a two-day training event, held on Wednesday and Thursday, aimed at instructors, coaches, and vocational assessors. Additionally, the event hosts the annual meetings of the International Group for Equestrian Qualifications (IGEQ) and the European Equestrian Network (EEN). These meetings support a shared goal to advance collaboration and professional networks within the field.

In today’s world, close collaboration among equestrian stakeholders and organizations is essential. Sharing opportunities and learning from each other is vital to strengthening both the business and vocational training sides of the equestrian industry. That’s why I eagerly look forward to the joint gathering of IGEQ and EEN,” says Markus Scharmann, EEN President.

IGEQ is an international organization representing 40 national equestrian federations and works to uphold high training qualification standards globally. The Finnish Equestrian Federation is represented by Ypäjä Equine College within the organization, with Finland having been involved since the organization’s founding in 1992. Founded in 1999 in Strömsholm, Sweden, EEN is a respected European network that connects national equestrian centres to promote equestrian education, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices.

This event offers participants a unique opportunity to build new networks, foster international collaboration, and share the latest insights on developments, quality standards, and competency requirements in equestrian education. This significant gathering also supports professional growth and learning opportunities for industry professionals while enhancing student mobility and career advancement on an international scale.

We warmly welcome all participants to this landmark occasion at Ypäjä!
